Dear Mr XXX
Debit cards work in a way that all your debit card transactions
amount
will be earmarked (ie. Put on hold). When you first perform
the
transaction using your Debit Card, our system will check if you
have
sufficient funds in your account. If you do not have sufficient
balance
in your Savings Account, the debit transaction will not be able to
go
through.
Debit Card is different from Credit card whereby a credit limit
will be
given customer for Credit Cards. Credit Card will not touch on
your
Savings Account's existing balance. Payment to credit card can be
done
when the bill statement is received.
Hence, you do have sufficient funds for all your previous debit
card
transactions.
Hope the above clarifies.
Best regards
